Understanding Billable HVAC Calls
In the HVAC category, a billable call is defined as a customer actively seeking professional repair, maintenance, or installation of central heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems. The focus is on permanent, building-integrated climate control solutions.
Common examples of requests that are considered non-billable include portable or temporary units (such as window AC units, portable heaters, and stand-alone dehumidifiers), gas fireplace repair, and automotive or marine HVAC. Additionally, we do not charge for requests solely for duct cleaning, “parts-only” inquiries, or customers asking you to install equipment they purchased themselves.
Please note that this list is provided for reference only and is not exhaustive. Criteria may change as our services evolve.
